Violent Femmes started the night out with a bang, he made the show in Bakersfield personal and emotional for all of us! Jimmy Wayne proved that he truly is a headliner, he did one of my favorite songs Sara Smile from Hall and Oates, he was great! Dierks came out and I was a fan before I saw him but now he is one of my favorite acts that I have ever seen! One of Violent Femmes' influences growing up was Buck Owens, our Buck Owens and Violent Femmes helped us remember some of the good times that we spent with Buck before he passed. Overall, I will see Violent Femmes, Dierks, and Jimmy anytime they are in my area. I will see him every time from now on, Violent Femmes come back several times a year!
